30 years InnoTrans – Swissrail still right in the middle

When the international rail industry meets again in Berlin in September 2026, there is double cause for anticipation: InnoTrans is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Swissrail has also been part of it for almost as many years – and during this time has developed into a well-established and popular meeting point for the Swiss rail industry.

Also in the anniversary year, Swissrail will once again be represented with two stands: the three-storey joint stand in Hall 2.2 as well as the infrastructure stand in Hall 26. Both stands in prime locations offer our members the opportunity to present their products, technologies and services to an international professional audience, establish new contacts and maintain their global network. Both InnoTrans as a whole and the Swissrail stands are practically fully booked. Anyone wishing to participate at short notice is welcome to contact the office – perhaps we can still find a solution.

A novelty awaits visitors in Hall 2.2: for the first time, we will set up an event stage at the Swissrail stand. It will offer Swissrail exhibitors the opportunity to present their innovations in short presentations. At the same time, it will create space for Swissrail association topics and for exchange on current developments in the industry. As every year, the traditional reception with the Swiss Ambassador Livia Leu will also take place on Thursday.

This year, Swissrail is once again travelling in the most environmentally conscious way possible. In addition to our efforts to organise stand construction, logistics and catering as sustainably as possible, we will once again travel together by train to Berlin. Anyone who would also like to do something for the climate and use the journey for exchange with other Swissrail members is welcome to book tickets via the office.

We warmly invite all members, partners and interested parties to visit us at InnoTrans and to celebrate 30 years of trade fair history and the future of the rail industry together with us.
