EPC Networking Day II – A successful relaunch
2nd EPC Networking Day by Team Switzerland Infrastructure for the rail and mobility industry
On 24 February 2026, Team Switzerland Infrastructure successfully hosted its second exclusive networking event between EPCs and representatives of the rail and mobility industry under the umbrella of Swissrail. This year, we were pleased to welcome Elecnor, QGMI and FCC as participating EPCs. Discussions focused in particular on ongoing projects and potential joint initiatives between EPCs and Swiss industrial companies, especially in the areas of electrification, conventional construction projects worldwide, and integrated system solutions including rolling stock, signalling and control systems, and e-bus systems.
Focus Morocco
Team Switzerland Infrastructure also had the pleasure of welcoming a high-level delegation from Morocco’s national railway operator ONCF to Zurich. The ONCF team presented its ambitious plans to expand high-speed, regional and tram networks in Morocco, particularly in view of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. In addition to these forward-looking infrastructure projects, the delegation also highlighted achievements already realised: passenger numbers are increasing and rail mobility is gaining popularity across the population.
Financial security within Team Switzerland: enabled by SERV
A key advantage for large-scale infrastructure projects worldwide: SERV – the Swiss Export Risk Insurance, Switzerland’s export credit agency – enables secure and competitive financing backed by its AAA rating. It therefore plays a vital role in the successful implementation of international infrastructure projects “Made in Switzerland”.
