Important components of every bogie are the spring elements. Especially the springs (spiral springs, rubberised springs, leaf springs, chevron springs, double spiral springs, etc.) play an important role in the behaviour of the bogie under load and in use on the rail. Testing the springs verifies the respective requirements and also provides important information on the correct installation in the bogie.
