Valuation for railway vehicles

The control of the residual value is an essential goal for owners of railway vehicles in the technical and commercial estimation for a vehicle fleet. The time-related depiction of the vehicle value of locomotives, passenger coaches and multiple units through vehicle valuation reports is a great help to the operators or owners of railway vehicles when assessing their status, providing information on the conditions and residual value risks within a vehicle’s lifetime and showing decisive points for analysing and assessing the effects of different strategies for use, maintenance and modernisation measures with respect to railway vehicles.
