AI Railway Computer RSL A3 (NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier)

EN50155 rolling stock computer (NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier) for perception applications like obstacle detection and signal recognition in railway vehicles.

The AI Railway Computer RSL A3 is based on the AGX Xavier module from NVIDIA’s Jetson series. The Railway/Transportation-Computer is purposefully designed for the requirements of railway vehicles. Through the combination of a NVIDIA Volta-GPU and ARM-CPU the Railway-Computer is suitable for demanding computer vision applications in the areas of inference and perception. Be it semi-autonomous driving, intelligent assistance systems (ADAS), the acquisition and processing of telemetry data (Train Contol Unit) or machine-learning-supported maintenance - the railroad computer can be used in various different ways.

The AI Railway Computer RSL A3 meets all current railroad standards, including EN50155 and the fire protection standard EN45545 as well as the EMC compatibility according to EN-50121-3-2. Furthermore, the AI Computer has a galvanically isolated power supply input. The boards of the computer are protected against condensation by conformal coating..

With the AI Railway Computer, Syslogic has brought NVIDIA Jetson technology to the railway industry. The device is designed for demanding railroad operations. For a quick introduction to AI applications, the railway computer is delivered with a pre-installed NVIDIA Jetpack SDK (Software Development Kit) including the Linux operating system (L4T).
