With the Railway Computer RSL 81, Syslogic offers an embedded system that was developed exclusively for in-vehicle applications. The Railway Computer RSL 81 has no moving parts (fanless) and is designed for the extended temperature range of –40 to +85 degrees Celsius thanks to its consistent industrial design. In addition, the Railway Computer withstands shock and vibration.
The in-vehicle computer supports high-speed CAN (ISO 11898-2), low-speed CAN (ISO 11898-3) and CAN-FD. The CAN interfaces can be configured without feedback if required.
5G modules can be connected via an M.2 interface. In conjunction with the x-coded Gigabit Ethernet ports, which permit high data rates, the Railway Computers are fit for future applications.
The Railway Computer RSL 81 complies with railroad industry standards. These include EN50155, OT4 as well as the fire protection standard for rail vehicles EN45545-2 HL3. On request, the computer is available with an uninterruptible power supply.
