Unheated composite sandwich floor for single deck, double deck, metro and LVR.
Our new and innovative 3A Composites Mobility solution -COMFLOOR® Basic & Entry- provides a lighter, cost-optimized unheated floor system designed for ease of installation and it is ideal for light rail, metro/-subway, high speed rail and all other types of rolling stock. The weight reduction is achieved through the intelligent integration of leading edge materials into the sandwich construction with skins made of Aluminum and/or GRP.
This new and easily recyclable material mix is based on aluminum and polymeric materials and expands our product portfolio with a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly product. Compared to traditional floors, our system is lighter, more durable, stiffer, more resistant to moisture and easier to install.
COMFLOOR® Basic & Entry- has been carefully designed with the environment in mind, and as well as being recyclable, no hazardous materials are used within the manufacturing process. This new heated floor system is maintenance-free providing reliable and exceptional performance over a service life of at least 30 years. Our solution is therefore the better alternative when it comes to sustainable unheated floor systems for new vehicles.
