Swissrail at InnoTrans 2024

Swissrail was proud to participate in InnoTrans 2024 with two joint stands and 46 co-exhibitors. The atmosphere among the exhibitors was relaxed and friendly. 

Once again this year, the fair was very well attended, offering numerous opportunities for intensive networking and in-depth professional discussions.

The fair was particularly characterized by meaningful discussions on forward-looking topics such as the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAC). Our "SWISS DAC HUB" in Hall 2.2, Stand 250, became a central meeting point where lively discussions on improving efficiency through DAC and optimizing operational processes took place. In addition to DAC, the European Train Control System (ERTMS) also came into focus, playing a key role in the development of European railway technology.

A special highlight of this year's InnoTrans was the visit of Ambassador Livia Leu, who has served as the Swiss ambassador to Germany since the fall of 2023. It was a great honor for us to welcome her to our stand for the first time. Together with over 150 guests, we toasted the excellent cooperation between the German and Swiss rail and mobility industries, further strengthening the partnership between these two key players in European transportation.

Our Commitment to Climate Protection

Once again this year, we have taken responsibility and calculated our CO2 emissions. With the support of Swiss Climate, we have reduced our emissions compared to our last participation in InnoTrans and supported climate protection projects. We are particularly proud that already one-third of our stand personnel traveled in a climate-friendly manner by train.
