General Assembly 2025

Hiking with almost 100 people? Yes, we can!

This year’s General Assembly began with a joint hike on the Zugerberg, followed by an aperitif overlooking Lake Zug and a dinner on the lakeshore. The focus was on personal exchange, networking and maintaining relationships, in a pleasant atmosphere supported by the beautiful surroundings and the weather. During the assembly, we listened to an inspiring presentation by futurologist Karin Frick. She gave us a look into the future of mobility with a clear message: interoperability, digitalisation and robust infrastructures are key drivers of change.

The annual report by President Christian Schnyder highlighted the strong collaboration between Swissrail, authorities, operators and partner associations. We also had the pleasure of welcoming several new member companies, which bring fresh perspectives and further enrich the network.

Following our assembly, the General Assembly of the Swiss Association of Public Transport (VöV) took place at the same venue. This gave industry and operators the opportunity to engage in intensive exchange and strengthen their networking over two to three days.

We would like to thank all our members, whose commitment contributes to the continuous development of the association.
